Alvechurch's inability to take their chances saw them slip to a defeat to Stratford Town in an entertaining game.

Having blown a two-goal lead to drop points to Peterborough Sports on Saturday, Darren Byfield's men were looking for three points against a Stratford side on the same amount of points as them.

However, they made the worse possible start falling behind after two minutes. Kurtis Revan's strike from outside the box was tipped onto the bar by Llyod Ransome, but Joe Curtis was on hand to poke the rebound into the net.
