Lee Allinson Reflects v Weston super Mare
Post Match Interview
Hendon returned to winning ways after a disappointing festive campaign to move five points clear of the drop zone after a 4-0 win at Silver Jubilee Park against a Weston-super-Mare outfit who had won their last four games! In probably the Greens best performance of the season to date, Luke Tingey put them in front after 29 minutes.
Crucially, however, just before half-time, Weston was awarded a penalty after Bradley Ash was brought down, but Scott Laird`s effort was saved by Hendon `keeper Rihards Matervics. Liam Brooks eventually doubled the home side`s lead on the hour-mark and Joe Felix made it game over with number three 5 minutes later, with Sam Corcoran adding a fourth in the 75th minute.
