There was a remarkable game at the New Eyrie as Bedford Town were edged out by visiting North Leigh by the odd goal in NINE!

A real see-saw affair had the teams swapping early goals through Dan Walker for the Eagles on 4 minutes and Lance Williams for the visitors 3 minutes later. Henry Landers then took North Leigh 3-1 ahead with goals in the 11th and 19th minutes.

Walker`s second just after half-time and a Connor Tomlinson effort on the hour mark made it 3-3 and Connor Calcutt had Bedford 4-3 up on 74 minutes.

But Landers hadn`t finished and he equalised 2 minutes later and won it with his fourth and North Leigh`s fifth with 6 minutes remaining!
