Steve Kinniburgh, manager of Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central club Corby Town, has added two more players to his squad.

Goalkeeper Dan George and midfielder Joel Carta have both been signed by the Steelmen after impressing in pre-season.

George, 22, spent the latter part of last season on the books at Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Division One East outfit Peterborough Sports.

He was originally with neighbours Peterborough Northern Star, where he made his United Counties League Premier Division debut at the age of 16.

He moved to Huntingdon Town and then back to Northern Star before starting last season at another UCL Premier Division outfit, Eynesbury Rovers.

Leicester-born Carta started his career with Shrewsbury Town as a youngster.

Spells with Total Motion Midland League Premier Division side Shepshed Dynamo and their now Southern Premier Division Central neighbours Barwell followed before joining Corby.
