Delighted to work with Mind BLMK

Club Statement

To mark today being World Mental Health Day, Dunstable Town FC are pleased to announce that for the remainder of this season, both our First Team, and our Development Team’s home and away shirts will proudly display the logo of our Charity Partner, Mind BLMK (Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes) in all our remaining competitive fixtures.

The battle to challenge stereotypes and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health problems can only be won by a concerted effort from us all. Dunstable Town FC is in the privileged position of playing semi-professional football and can act as standard bearers as we seek to raise awareness of conditions that will affect one in four of us at some stage every year (Public Health England) among football followers in the Evo-Stik League South Division 1 Central & the Suburban League.

Dunstable Town FC Interim Chairman, Neil Barker, said;
“We at Dunstable Town FC are delighted to be working with Mind BLMK. Their focus on mental health and well-being in the local community matches perfectly with our values as a community football club”.

Hayley Coomber, Fundraising Manager of Mind BLMK, said the following;
“We are truly honoured to be featured on Dunstable Town Football Club’s team shirts and so entirely grateful for all of the support shown by the club. By working together, we hope to raise both funds and awareness within our local communities, and any support would be truly appreciated.”
