Managerless Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division South club Taunton Town emphatically made it through to the Fourth Qualifying Round after hammering Vanarama National League South side St Albans City 5-2 at the Viridor Stadium.
In front of a crowd of 595, Matt Buse and Ryan Brett put Taunton 2-0 ahead by the 26th minute and Ollie Chamberlain added a third in the 39th minute.
Chamberlain netted again in the 53rd minute before Ralston Gabriel on 61 minutes and Tom Bender in the 76th minute pulled back goals for the Saints.
But Buse scored a fifth for the Peacocks a minute into stoppage time and the Somerset side`s reward is a daunting tie at St Albans` ambitious league rivals Billericay Town on October 20th.
