Corby Town and Bromsgrove Sporting remain first and second respectively in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central after they both won on Saturday.
The Steelmen were made to wait in front of 471 at Steel Park before seeing off Barton Rovers with goals in the 68th and 75th minutes from Joel Carta and then from Jake Bettles in stoppage time.
Bromsgrove had a crowd of 748 for their game at home to Yaxley, who shocked the majority by taking a 5th-minute lead.
Jason Cowley equalised 12 minutes later and Sporting won it with a 56th-minute penalty converted by Richard Gregory, although they had to hold on with ten men following the 68th-minute dismissal of Charlie Dowd.
Peterborough Sports moved into third after a 5-0 home demolition of Thame United.
Four-up at the break through an Avelino Vieira brace, Jim Stevenson and Lewis Hilliard, Sports made it a nap hand just 2 minutes after half-time through new signing Spencer Weir-Daley, but Thame prevented any further damage.

At Broadwater, a 51st-minute spot-kick from Paul Hathaway, in the end, proved enough for Coleshill.
The bottom two, Kidlington and North Leigh, met at Yarnton Road and shared a 3-3 draw in a dramatic finale.
North Leigh looked dead and buried at half-time as the hosts led 3-0 with a Declan Benjamin brace and one for Tom Franklin.
George Seacole reduced the deficit after 54 minutes and then Henry Landers scored what looked like being a second consolation as it came in the 4th minute of stoppage time.
But North Leigh went straight back on the attack and equalised a minute later with Seacole`s second.
Ben Shepherd gave Kempston Rovers a 20th minute lead at Hillgrounds in the Bedfordshire derby with Dunstable Town.
Chris Wreh levelled 9 minutes later and then Saul Williams put the Duns ahead 6 minutes into the second half, with Rio Dasilva making sure with a third a minute from time.
The Duns` neighbours AFC Dunstable were held to a 1-1 Creasey Park draw by Welwyn Garden City, whose Stuart Zanone cancelled out BJ Christie`s early 6th-minute opener with only 5 minutes left.
And Sutton Coldfield Town climbed up to eighth in the table after a 2-1 win at Chesham against Aylesbury United.
Ryan Nesbitt broke the deadlock 3 minutes after half-time to give the Royals the lead which Ben Aghadiuno levelled on the hour-mark, only for Jonathan Letford to win it for Sutton Coldfield on 63 minutes.
