Cambridge City manager Robbie Nightingale has tonight added 3 players to the first team squad.
Mickey Davis is a fullback and joins City from Haverhill Rovers. He was formerly with Grimsby Town but was released by the Mariners and joined Haverhill Borough in April before switching to Rovers. The new signing is no stranger to City as he was with the under 16 set-up 3 years ago before his move to Grimsby.
Matt Baxter is a midfielder who is joining from Brightlingsea Regent. He was previously with Braintree Town before making the move to Brightlingsea during the summer. He played against City in the FA Cup tie that Brightlingsea won in September.
Keano Robinson is a defender who joins City from Hayes & Yeading. He played against the Lilywhites 3 times last year including the play-off semi-final which City won at the end of last season. Keano came through the youth ranks with Peterborough United.
Providing all the necessary paperwork is processed in time, all 3 will be available for the home match with Sutton Coldfield on Saturday. The match could also see some other new additions to the squad which may happen tomorrow.
