Sutton Coldfield Town face Coleshill in derby

Pre Match View

Coleshill Town head to Sutton Coldfield Town in Evo-Stik Southern Central One this Saturday with their managers showing a mutual respect for each other.

The two sides battle it out at Sutton's Coles Lane ground with the Colemen currently three places and four points ahead of the Royals, who have a game in hand.

It promises to be a close encounter and Coleshill boss Cameron Stuart said: “Sutton are a very similar side to us and they work really hard.

“It’s a tough game but you’d expect nothing else from a local derby.

“I know their manager Neil Tooth well,” Stuart added.

“There are only a few Midland sides in the league now, ourselves, Sutton and Bromsgrove.

“So Neil, myself and Brendan Kelly (Bromsgrove) try to give each other as much help as we can in terms of opponents.

“Neil’s a really nice bloke and has had a good management career.

“We will be going to Sutton to try and win the game and hopefully we will get a positive result, but I will certainly have a pint with him afterwards.”
