Beaconsfield ready for 'Orient ' clash

Beaconsfield Town FC was handed an excellent but tough draw for the first round of the FA
Trophy, away to Leyton Orient, currently the top team in the National League and only last year
relegated from the Sky Bet League Two.

On Saturday 15th December, the Rams will travel to the Beyer Group Stadium in Leyton, to celebrate what will be the biggest game in the club’s
history and Beaconsfield have laid on free coach travel to and from the game for local fans.

Rams Manager, Gary Meakin, said;

“It’s a game that everyone at the club is looking forward to, for everyone behind the scenes or
anyone that has supported us for a long time it is one to enjoy.

As a group of players and management, we have a responsibility and a sense of pride to do ourselves justice, there is a genuine belief within the group that will go there and win.”

Beaconsfield Town FC were promoted to the Evo-Stik Southern Premier this year, after being
crowned champions in the Evo-Stik South-East in the 2017/18 season. The year is going well so
far, as the Rams sit just outside of the playoff positions.

This is also the furthest that the club has ever progressed in the FA Trophy.
