WEYMOUTH manager Mark Molesley spoke of his desire to ‘press the reset button’ following the 3-1 defeat to Gosport last week, as his side prepare to host Harrow Borough in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South tomorrow
Due to a postponement of their FA Trophy first round match against Needham Market, and the subsequent withdrawal from the competition by the Marketmen prior to the scheduled rearranged tie on Tuesday, the loss to Gosport is still the Terras’ most recent match.
Describing the postponement, Molesley said: “The situation was totally out of our control, we were disappointed, we wanted to play football. Unfortunately, things were beyond our control and we could not play.
“The good thing is that we have managed to have a couple of training sessions so we can press the reset button after Gosport and get back to working on everything in training and get back to what we do best.”
Weymouth kicked off their season away against Harrow, with Brandon Goodship netting a treble in a 3-2 win.
Harrow have had a great start to their season and currently occupy fourth place in the table, three points behind the Terras having played a game more.
Molesley said: “I think it is the first time we’ve played a team a second time in the league so it shows that we are getting through the season now and we find ourselves in a good position and we have got to keep it going.”
