King's Lynn Town manager Ian Culverhouse lauded the striking partnership of Adam Marriott and Michael Gash for a clinical display after a 4-0 win over Lowestoft lifted his side up to third in the league standings.
Marriott helped himself to a Boxing Day hat-trick and Gash netted the other as the Linnets extended their long unbeaten run to 14 games.
Lynn's front two now have 15 goals between them this season and both men have been key figures in the club's recent surge into the play-off places.
Marriott has found the back of the net five times in his last four games and Culverhouse said: "That's the quality that Adam brings.
"He was excellent today and links up so well with Gashy. He feeds on scraps in the box and that's why he was brought to this football club.
Culverhouse also hailed the huge impact of Gash, who scored Lynn's third goal midway through the second half.
"He was outstanding for us again," said the Linnets chief.
"When he's in that type of form, he's hard to play against in this league. It's about us getting the right service into him and I was so pleased that he scored as he deserved it."
