Dias Set to Make Debut Against Former Club

Midfielder ex Conference South

Midfielder Claudio Dias has joined Tamworth and is likely to make his debut at The Lamb against the club he has just left, Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central rivals Stratford Town tomorrow!

Dias, who can play up front or in midfield, joined Stratford in July 2018.

He ended last season with United Counties League Premier Division side Potton United, who have subsequently been switched to the Spartan South Midlands League.

He joined Potton in February 2018 from Southern League East side Barton Rovers, who he had signed for in the summer of 2017 for a second spell from neighbours and new league rivals Dunstable Town.

The 24-year-old has played for several clubs after starting at Northampton where he made a football league appearance against Barnet.

He had loan spells with Corby Town and Banbury United whilst on the Cobblers` books and then had his first short spell with Dunstable upon his release from Sixfields in 2014.

He went on to feature for Bedford Town, Barton Rovers for the first time, Brackley Town and Braintree Town in the National League.

Meanwhile, Birmingham City's Jack Concannon will remain at The Lamb for an additional month.

His original 'work experience' agreement was due to expire after Saturday's home fixture with Stratford Town. However, the SkyBet Championship outfit have agreed to extend until mid-February.

Concannon has made 6 appearances for the Lambs so far.
