Ahead of our top of the table, Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central encounter with Peterborough Sports.
Manager Bren Kelly has looked at the task at hand, as well as giving a squad update and a rallying call for a big travelling cohort.
“This week, we travel to one of the furthest away games this season as we go to Peterborough Sports.
“The table toppers, who in my view are absolutely there on merit, have swept almost everyone aside thus far, losing just two games.
“They are the best side in the league and deserve to be top; they are top by playing football the right way, which is impressive, so we will be up against on Saturday.
“The squad is slightly stretched, with Rich Gregory & Tom Taylor unavailable, so we go there slightly under full strength – but, if we play as we did against them at the VG, we give ourselves a chance.
“I guess what’s in their favour is that they don’t need to win, so it is set up to be a cagey affair.
“It’s also another trip into the unknown ground-wise, as we’ve never been there before, so I’m hoping our amazing fans will be there to back us and try to make an atmosphere as if it was a home game.
“It’s our biggest game of the season so far – not because it’s a top of the league clash, but because it’s the next one, and we must take one game at a time.
“We are underdogs, but I feel we can give a good account of ourselves.”
