#EvostikLeague South
Next up for St Neots is a busy period with two matches in four days.
With only eight matches left every point available is vital if relegation at the end of the season is to be avoided.
Three of those eight opponents are still very much in the promotion/play off chase and the next two are two of that eight.
First up on Saturday Marc and his side must visit league leaders and firm promotion favourites Kettering Town.
Currently eight points ahead at the top of the table the Poppies have been in the top two all season although they do lack the consistency they would like, with two surprising defeats in their last three matches at home at home to Coalville and away at Biggleswade.
Prior to the Coalville defeat they had reeled off seven consecutive victories and were looking impregnable.
In four visits to Burton Latimer where the Poppies play, St Neots’ have not recorded a victory although two of the meetings have ended in draws.
Earlier this season at the Premier Plus Stadium Kettering recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory and the only St Neots’ victory in nine meetings came at home in the sides’ first Southern League meeting in 2013 when goals from Lewis Hilliard, Adrian Sear, Ryan Auger and Kyle Asante gave the home side a 4-3 win.
