Eagles secure signing of striker with massive potential.

Two year contract

#BetVictor

Bedford Town Football Club is delighted to welcome the signing of Connor Tomlinson. He is the 18-year-old son of former Bedford player Graeme, who played for us in 2002/2003 under Kevin Wilson.

Connor has been at Luton Town throughout his youth and had a number of different options when leaving the Hatters in the summer of this year. We are delighted that he has committed his future to the Eagles, and, can exclusively reveal he has agreed on a two-year contract with the club. The striker has the potential to be one of the liveliest and deadliest players at step four and above.

Speaking exclusively to www.bedfordeagles.net, Manager Jon Taylor commented "The signing of Connor is a massive boost to the club. He has massive potential and is certainly one that will go far in the future. To have agreed on a two-year contract with him is something that was important for both him, and the club, and I'm grateful for Graeme's involvement in making this happen. There was a period when we didn't think this signing would happen, but we're delighted that Connor has chosen us to continue his playing career."

Connor is in the squad for tonight's home game against Kettering Town.
