Eighteen-year-old Bancroft, who impressed in the recent friendly at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium, started his career at Motorama National League outfit Aldershot Town in their youth setup, and was handed his first professional contract by Swindon in May 2019, having had first-team involvement.
