Guy Hollis for Farnborough

Experienced defender signs

BetVictor Southern League Premier Division South club Farnborough have signed experienced defender Guy Hollis on dual registration with Vanarama National League South side Slough Town.

The 28-year-old joined Slough in June 2013 from Godalming Town. He is a quick, solid central defender who started his career for Ashford Town (Middx.) at the age of 17.

After several seasons at Ashford, he then moved up to the Isthmian Premier with Carshalton Athletic before moving to Godalming, where he was the 'G's player of the season for 2011/12.

He had an exceptional year for the Rebels in the 2015/16 season, scooping all the player of the year awards. On his 200th appearance for Slough, he was part of the side which defeated King's Lynn Town at The Walks to win promotion to the National League South.
