Whitby Town v Stourbridge
The Glassboys earned a home tie against either Vanarama National League side Eastleigh or National League South outfit Welling United, who replay tonight, after edging out Northern Premier League Premier Division Whitby Town by the odd goal in five at the War Memorial Ground. In front of a crowd of 1.092, the Seasiders had much the better of the first half and few home fans fancied their team`s chances when they fell 2-0 down. Matty Tymon opened the scoring for the visitors after 12 minutes and they had a great chance to double that when they were awarded a penalty in the 26th minute, but for a penalty save by Glassboys` keeper James Wren. Twelve minutes later though, Wren was beaten for a second time by Adam Gell. Crucially, however, Chay Tilt pulled one back for the home side 5 minutes before the break.
Whitby held their 2-1 lead until 15 minutes from time when Tilt popped up with the equaliser.
Extra-time loomed until Whitby failed to clear the 82nd-minute corner and Kristian Green scrambled the ball home to seal Stourbridge`s passage.
