Alvechurch took an early 7th minute lead in front of 897 at Lye Meadow against high-flying Bromsgrove. And it wasn`t until 2 minutes into first-half injury-time that Sporting levelled through Michael Taylor. Three minutes after half-time, Richard Gregory put the visitors in front and Church`s hopes took a massive blow on the hour-mark when they had Joe Hull dismissed for a second yellow card offence. Fifteen minutes from time. Josh Quaynor made it 3-1 and a Gregory penalty 9 minutes from time completed a comfortable win for Brendan Kelly`s side.
