Daventry Town, with Arron Parkinson back in the dug-out, were looking to put pressure on the top five when they travelled to Bedworth United`s Oval but were on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat. Goals in the 11th and 16th minute from Mitch Piggon and Luke Rowe respectively gave the Greenbacks something to hold on to. Jack Bowen pulled one back on 34 minutes, but the visitors were unable to find a leveller.
