Needham Market gain new keeper

Returning to Suffolk

BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central club Needham Market have signed goalkeeper Jacob Marsden.

Marsden was on the books at SkyBet League One side Ipswich Town from 2010 to 2017, signing professional terms with the Tractor Boys.

He spent from September 2016 to the end of the 2016/17 season on loan with the Marketmen`s league rivals Leiston before being released by Ipswich.

He trialled with Grimsby Town in the summer of 2017 before signing for another of Needham Market`s league rivals, St Ives Town.

In December 2017 he moved to then-Isthmian League North side Mildenhall Town where he earned a move `north of the border` to Hamilton Academical in August 2018.

However, he made just the one first-team appearance in the Scottish Premiership before being released last summer and returning to Suffolk.
