Cormac Pike signs for Paulton Rovers

Young talented defender

BetVictor Southern League Division One South club Paulton Rovers have signed defender Cormac Pike.

Originally a youth player with Bristol Rovers, the 19-year-old Yeovil-born defender won a place at the prestigious Millfield School.

Pike became the first-ever Millfield player to captain the Independent Schools Football Association (ISFA) and the English Schools' Football Association (ESFA) squads in the same season.

He is one of only a handful of players in the country to hold the captaincies in both leagues. In 2018 he crossed the Atlantic to attend and play for Fairfield University Stags.

He is no stranger to Rovers, however, as he played for the club during the Christmas and New Year period in 2018.
