Alvechurch`s last league win was against St Ives on October 19th and they made it four wins from 19 matches by completing a 3-2 victory in the relegation `six-pointer` at the Trico Stadium against bottom-markers Redditch United.

It looked as though `Church were going to coast the local derby as they raced into a 3-0 lead with goals from Aaron Birch after 16 minutes, Kyle Morrison on the half-hour mark and then new loanee Lewis Wright 5 minutes after the break.

But Duane Darby`s side made a fight of it, pulling two back through Josh Endall after 57 minutes and their new loan signing, Brandon Diau, although the visitors held firm to move off the second-bottom spot.
