Tamworth FC - Lambs Media Team

<3R>Tamworth starts 2020 as they left 2019 – two points clear at the top of the BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central table after a comfortable 3-0 win at Hednesford Town on New Year`s Day.

A crowd of 802 at Keys Park saw the Lambs take a 13th-minute lead through Bilal Yafai, then 6 minutes later, the Pitmen were reduced to ten-men when Yafai set Rhys Hoenes free and he was hauled down by home captain Ben Bailey, giving the referee little option but to show a straight red card. Hednesford, who started the day in sixth place, conceded a second on 67 minutes from Chris Lait, who added his second and Tamworth`s third with 3 minutes remaining.
