The new era at St Neots under recently appointed Manager Barr Corr began in disappointing fashion as visiting Bedworth held on with ten men for the final 25 minutes after Cal Templeton was sent off as he picked up a second yellow card. St Neots made a bright start and Prince Mutswunguma headed home his eighth league goal of the season from an Aaron Smith cross after 17 mins. The lead last ten minutes before Mitchell Piggon levelled with a low shot past unsighted St Neots custodian Finlay Iron.
Three minutes before the break Iron hesitated as tried to close down Luke Keen who was clear of the defence, but the visiting forward skilfully netted with an angled finish. St Neots never found their early rhythm after the break
and Bedworth withdrew their strikers to concentrate on defending their narrow advantage and the ploy worked.
