Hendon pulled five points clear of Yate and ten of Beaconsfield after beating the top five hopefuls Gosport Borough 2-1 at Silver Jubilee Park. Shaun Lucien broke the deadlock to give the Greens the lead 10 minutes into the second half.Joe White scored his third goal in two games on 76 minutes to double the home side`s lead. However, a goal from Matty Paterson in the 87th minute made it a nervy finale.
