Peterborough Sports v Tamworth
No doubt where the top match is in the BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central on Saturday. It`s the third v second clash at the Bee Arena between Peterborough Sports and Tamworth.
Sports will still be reeling from losing their second home game of the campaign to date on Tuesday night to a Hitchin Town side down in 17th place in the table.
Peterborough Sports manager talked exclusively to SFL Media
Jimmy Dean ‘Last Tuesday was a terrible day at the office. I can’t remember a more ‘limp display’ during my time in charge of Sports if I am completely honest.
We are struggling to find a bit of consistency right now and we have one of, if not the best team in the league coming to town after our worst performance of the season, it’s not an ideal situation. When we played them at their place they won 3-1 but in truth, it should have been a lot more.
We hope to show them that we are better than that performance but that is all we will concentrate on an ‘improved performance and see where it takes us. Of course, I’m hoping the boys will give me a reaction on Saturday but ultimately the proof will be in the pudding, let’s see what happens.

Tamworth Preview
Lambs` bosses Andrew Danylyszyn and Gary Smith will know though that Jimmy Dean`s men will be wounded animals and dangerous opponents.
Tamworth has four games in hand on leaders Bromsgrove Sporting and two on Peterborough Sports. However, they too are looking to recover from a setback, having lost 2-1 at The Lamb to lowly Leiston last weekend.
Squad strengthened by the arrival of new striker Liam Hearn
Ex-Grimsby and Mansfield Town forward Hearn, 34, has arrived from Basford United and it's a timely boost with the Lambs having lost back-to-back games against Bromsgrove Sporting and Leiston.
“He’s an experienced striker and I think his knowledge could be valuable to us and can rub off on the players around him.
Away Form Guide

A very difficult match to call, but no doubt will be entertaining as two very strong squads clash after two disappointing home defeats.
