Goalscoring Debut for Centre Half

Ex Northampton Town scholar

Making a goalscoring debut for Daventry Town in their 3-0 win against Barton Rovers in the BetVictor Southern League Division One Central on Saturday was defender Jarvis Wilson.

The 19-year-old is a quick and powerful centre-back who can also operate as a defensive midfielder.

He joined Daventry from Southern League Premier Division Central strugglers St Ives Town, for whom he made 23 appearances and scored one goal this season.

He joined the Saints at the start of last season having completed a scholarship at SkyBet League Two side Northampton Town and showed his potential with some outstanding performances at the heart of Ives defence, playing 41 times with one goal.
