Star Match - Premier South

Salisbury v Tiverton Town

A decent crowd is expected at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium as seventh-placed Salisbury take on third-placed Tiverton Town.

Steve Claridge`s Whites are two points behind fifth-placed Taunton Town heading into the clash and his critics were silenced last weekend when his team went to struggling neighbours Dorchester Town and won 5-0 after losing their previous two matches in the league and Buildbase FA Trophy.

Disappointingly for Tivvy fans, their top-of-the-table clash with second-placed Chesham United on Wednesday night was postponed due to a waterlogged Ladysmead surface.

And having drawn two and lost one of their previous three matches, Martyn Rogers` side will be keen to get back to winning ways and close the four-point gap on current leaders Truro City.

No doubt manager Steve Claridge will want the very best from his squad, whilst Tiverton's manager Martyn Rogers will be keen to get his team playing on a decent suface as they battle to secure three points

The form book suggests a very close game, will no doubt be extremely tight and mistakes can cost your team dear at this stage of the season.
