The first half saw the Saints defend against the wind as Biggleswade mounted attack after attack. The wall was breached in the 6th minute as Scott Joseph put Biggleswade ahead.
The wind swirled, and against the run of play, St Neots scrambled an equaliser in the 18th minute as Tom Boxer poked his second in two games.
The Star player for Biggleswade in the second half was certainly their keeper Tyler Joesphs as the Saints took full advantage of the Wind and ‘battered’ on the door for a winning goal.
Chances came and went bringing out save after save from the young Joesphs, aided by both post and Bar.
Barry Corr – St Neots Town FC - Post Match
Was pleased how we created chance after chance, keeping our shape helped us drive forward. Certainly felt on the second-half performance we deserved to win, but you have to put the ball in the net, a little more composure is required.
Dave Northfield / Mark Inskip – Post Match
St Neots Town deserved three points, and we feel lucky to go home with a point.
Having watched them recently we knew that they were in a very false position given they have some very good young players.
We should have taken full advantage of the conditions in the first half and were nearly made to pay for it in the second half.
(Note - Wind noise was too much for the Two post Match Interviews - Sorry )
