The gap at the top of the BetVictor Southern League Division One Central is down to a single point after leaders Corby Town were held to a draw and second-placed Berkhamsted won.

Daventry Town did their Northamptonshire rivals no favours at Steel Park by battling to a 1-1 draw in front of 410. The visitors led at the break, thanks to a 40th minute Adam Creaney effort. Elliot Sandy equalised with 17 minutes left but the Purples held firm on a wild and windy afternoon.
