It`s literally top v bottom at the Trico where Redditch United host Tamworth.
Redditch, who haven`t won in the BetVictor Southern League Premier Division Central since the sunny days of August Bank Holiday Monday when they overcame fellow strugglers Alvechurch 2-0, face a daunting task if they are to prevent the Lambs from staying top of the table.
The Reds have failed to present Duane Darby with a single point since he took charge in November ahead of their 7-0 thrashing at Peterborough Sports.
Tamworth returned to the summit on Tuesday night following a 2-0 win at Lye Meadow against second-bottom Alvechurch – the Lambs third win in a row which followed three successive defeats.
Redditch United - Preview Notes
New Faces
Redditch will be looking to get themselves out of this current form, after losing 23 league games in a row.
There are plenty of new faces to watch out for tomorrow including forwards, Alex Yearwood, Reinaldo Forbes and Wesley Iroegbu. Fullbacks Joel Whittingham and Lance Moyo and midfielder Jelson Antonio. Darby has been a very busy man this week to secure these signings, some of which may feature this weekend.
A win tomorrow will help to reignite our relegation fight, especially if the Church fails to pick up three points.
It’ll be a very tough test against an In-form team,
