Wantage Town gain promising winger

A loan deal with Swindon Town

Promising winger Jacob Bancroft has joined BetVictor Southern League Division One South strugglers Wantage Town on loan from SkyBet League Two side Swindon Town.

The 18-year-old has recently returned to the County Ground following a loan stint in the Southern League Premier Division South with Salisbury, where he made 4 appearances.

Bancroft has made one first-team appearance for Swindon in March 2019 against Colchester United, having impressed at academy level last season – helping Town’s under-18s challenge for the Merit League I title.
