The Ducks were looking to pull five points clear of the chasing pack, led by Biggleswade FC, but got off to the worst possible start when Nathan Frater`s free-kick flew straight in after just 2 minutes.
They were behind for only 2 minutes though as Max Hercules – son of Aylesbury`s goalscoring legend Cliff – equalised.
Then on 15 minutes, the hosts went in front with a neat effort from Ollie Hogg.
Four minutes into the second half, Aylesbury made it 3-1 with one of those goals you often get in windy conditions – a cross or was it a shot – from Jake Bewley gave AFC`s goalkeeper George Rose little chance.
It`s now seven games without a win for AFC Dunstable.
