Williams Makes St Ives Switch

New midfielder for the Saints.

Southern League Premier Division Central club St Ives Town have snapped up midfielder Dylan Williams.

A creative attacking player, the 22-year-old joins the Saints after ending the truncated 2019/20 season with league rivals Biggleswade Town, for whom he made 18 appearances and scored 5 goals.

He started his career with Cambridge United and had loan spells with Soham Town Rangers and Wealdstone before being released from the Abbey Stadium at the end of the 2016/17 season.

He subsequently joined St Neots Town and had two campaigns with the `other` Saints, totalling 75 games and 23 goals.

He made the switch to Lowestoft Town towards the end of the 2018/19 season and it was from the Trawlerboys that he joined the Waders in November 2019.
