Attacking midfielder Dayle Grubb has returned to Southern League Premier Division South club Weston-super-Mare on a four-year contract following a two-and-a-half-year spell with Forest Green Rovers in the League Two.
Grubb joined Forest Green in December 2017 for an undisclosed fee.
After signing his initial 18-month professional deal with Rovers, Grubb had to leave his job as a sports teacher.
The 29-year-old scored 86 goals in 298 National League South appearances for his home-town club, Weston after coming through the youth system at the Optima Stadium before joining Forest Green.
Grubb made a total of 53 appearances with 8 goals whilst at The New Lawn and also had a spell on loan with National League outfit Eastleigh towards the end of last season, making 3 appearances before lockdown caused him to return to his parent club.
