Southern League Division One Central club Corby Town have appointed the experienced Gary Mills as their new manager.
Mills will be assisted at the club by his long-time number two, Darron Gee.
The now 58-year-old, a former Nottingham Forest European Cup Final winner, who also played over 200 times for Leicester City, has had a lot of experience managing at Vanarama National League level with the likes of Wrexham, Alfreton Town, Gateshead and York City, where he had two spells in charge.
He started his managerial career as player-manager with Grantham Town in 1996.
He left the Gingerbreads after leading them to the Southern League Midland Division title in his second season.
He then served as player-manager at Southern Premier Division club King's Lynn from 1998 to 2000 and was appointed player-manager of Lynn`s rivals Tamworth in 2001.
He also managed in the Football League with Notts County and in 2014 he was named the non-League manager of the year for guiding Gateshead to the Conference play-offs.
