Familiar Face Returns to Thatcham

Youngsters put pen-to-paper for Kingfishers.

Southern League Division One South club Thatcham Town`s latest signing is a familiar face to Kingfishers` fans.

Tinashe Gwavava started playing for Thatcham's youth team before moving onto Vanarama National League South outfit Hungerford Town` academy.

The 21-year-old right-back went on to play first-team football for Royal Wootton Bassett Town in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division and, last season, for Tadley Calleva in the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier.

Also putting pen-to-paper for the senior side is 19-year-old winger or striker Callum Beasley.

A talented player and graduate from the Kingfishers` youth team, he was dual-registered last season with Team Solent, who have since pulled out of the Sydenhams Football League (Wessex).
