Stuart Storer, manager of Southern League Division One Central club Bedworth United, has added to his backroom staff.
Vastly experienced Mark Albrighton has agreed to take up the role of assistant coach to the first team.
The now 44-year-old veteran defender originally joined club Bedworth from Barwell in November 2013 and then moved onto Midland League Premier Division neighbours Coventry Sphinx in August 2019.
The vastly experienced local player had several seasons as a professional with Doncaster Rovers and had loan periods with Chester City, Darlington and Cambridge City.
He also has a wealth of National League (Conference) experience, where he played for AFC Telford United, Stevenage Borough, Kidderminster Harriers and Nuneaton Borough.
He quickly became a fan favourite at the Oval with his no-nonsense style of play and has appeared for the club in two play-off finals, winning both.
