Basingstoke Return for Lewis

Full-back returns after several years away.

Full-back Aiden Lewis has signed for Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Basingstoke Town for the 2020/21 season.

Lewis returns to Basingstoke having had a previous spell with the club during the 2008/09 season under manager Frank Gray.

He has also played at Thatcham Town, Gosport Borough and also been part of very successful AFC Totton and Didcot Town sides.

Manager Dan Brownlie told https://btfc.co.uk: “Aiden is a great addition to our squad – he’s got bags of experience in and around this level. He has a great attitude and manner – he’s been particularly good with the younger lads.

“He’s still working on his fitness levels, but he’s got the attitude to keep improving that side of his game – he’s got a lot to give this team and we’re very pleased to have him on board. We’ve got some good competition all over the park now and whilst I still have my eye on one or two, we are happy with where we are”.
