Swain Returns to Bedford

Third spell with Eagles.

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Bedford Town have re-signed defender Ollie Swain for a third time.

The 23-year-old returns to the New Eyrie from Southern Premier Division Central side Biggleswade Town, who he left the Eagles for in December 2019.

He had re-signed for Bedford in September 2019 having moved to Southern Premier South side Walton Casuals in June 2019 from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town.

He had joined Hemel in November 2018 from Bedford having made his debut for the Eagles exactly two years earlier and has also had spells with Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Bedford FC and has also turned out for Dagenham & Redbridge on pre-season trial.

He spent the latter part of 2018/19 on loan with Cambridge City.
