Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Alvechurch have revealed three new youthful arrivals at Lye Meadow.
Carrick Hill is a young defender who can play anywhere across the back four,
He joins after being released by Premier League new boys West Bromwich Albion at the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Malvern-born, he came through from Albion`s scholarship group and was a regular in the under-18 side.
The 18-year-old has played for Church a few times throughout pre-season and looks like being a great addition to Ian Long`s squad.
A former team-mate of Hill`s at The Hawthorns, midfielder Peter Taylor, has also signed for Alvechurch.
The combative and technical midfielder joins up with the management team after a successful spell last season at Stourbridge, where he was on loan from November to December 2019.
The 20-year-old did join Church on loan in March 2020. However, due to the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, supporters didn`t get to see much of him.
Despite being released by the Baggies at the end of 2019/20, he is still being pursued by League clubs.
Pacey and exciting forward Taylor Townsend has also put pen-to-paper to join Church.
The 19-year-old was previously an academy scholar at Premier League Wolverhampton Wanderers.
He is a highly promising forward with fast feet and an eye for goal who played regularly for Wolves under-18s before being released a couple of months back.
