White Added to Stratford`s Attacking Otions

New striker for Town.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Stratford Town have signed forward Harry White.

He moves to the Arden Garages Stadium having returned from playing in the Australian National Premier League Victoria for Oakleigh Cannons.

Prior to heading to Australia in January 2019, White had been turning out for Stratford`s league rivals Redditch United for a short period.

The 25-year-old started out as a member of the Coventry City academy and had spells with a number of non-League clubs, such as Earlswood Town, Coventry Sphinx and Banbury United as well as spending a year playing College Soccer in the USA for Lincoln Lane, before settling into the Gloucester City first team in 2014/15.

The Birmingham-born forward went on to make over 30 appearances for the Tigers, scoring 7 goals, before being snapped up by the then League One side Barnsley in 2015 for an undisclosed fee.

His spell at Oakwell, where he was a member of the development squad, saw his first-team game-time limited and he was sent out on loan to National League North side Kidderminster Harriers and National League outfit Boreham Wood, before making a permanent switch to Wood`s league rivals Solihull Moors at the start of the 2016/17 season for a nominal fee.

He finished the 2016/17 season Solihull’s top scorer - a record that saw him snapped by Chester FC for the 2017/18 season.

He played 30 times for the Blues, netting 5 goals before signing for Chester`s new league rivals Hereford FC in June 2018.

He made 17 appearances for the Bulls, with 4 goals, before heading `down under` after is short spell with the Reds.
