Deards Moves to Bedworth

Experienced midfielder becomes a Greenback.

Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Bedworth United have signed midfielder Connor Deards.

The experienced 27-year-old finished the truncated 2019/20 season with Alvechurch, having joined in February 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central rivals Redditch United, where he had been since July 2019.

He re-joined the Reds from Midland League Premier Division outfit Gresley FC.

He had signed for the Moatmen in February 2019 and made 10 appearances.

Originally on the books at Walsall, he went on to have spells with Hinckley United, Studley, Rushall Olympic, Alvechurch and Bromsgrove Sporting as well as his earlier stint with Redditch.
