Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Bedford Town have added a couple of new players to their squad.
Manager Gary Setchell has signed his son Danny.
The 21-year-old midfielder re-joined Northern Premier League Division One South East side Wisbech Town in September 2019 after short spells with rivals Stamford AFC and United Counties League neighbours Holbeach United.
He had been the players` player of the year at Wisbech for 2018/19 after scoring 12 goals.
He was previously with King`s Lynn Town and Wisbech St Mary.
Another familiar face to the manager is defender Sam Gaughran.
The now 30-year-old joined Norwich City's academy in June 2000 as a schoolboy but was released at the age of 14.
He re-joined King`s Lynn initially playing for their youth team then for the reserves.
After breaking into the first team and having trials with Nottingham Forest, he was spotted by Peterborough United around Christmas 2006.
They invited him to several trials at London Road and in April 2007, he signed a two-year scholarship with Peterborough to begin in June 2007.
He was also loaned to Norwegian side Kvinesdal IL, Boston United in January 2008 and Grays Athletic in August 2009 whilst on Posh`s books.
He was released by Peterborough at the end of the 2009/10 season and he signed for Lowestoft Town.
At the end of May 2012, he returned to King`s Lynn following their promotion to the Southern League but by the end of June, he had quit Lynn and re-joined Lowestoft and helped them to promotion to the Conference South, making 93 appearances in total.
He re-joined King`s Lynn in the summer of 2015 and made a further 118 appearances before he left in January 2018 and signed with Royston Town.
He returned to Lynn yet again in June 2018 as player/assistant-manager but departed in the summer of 2019 for Peterborough Sports.
Meanwhile, striker Tom Hitchcock has dual registered with Isthmian League North Division side Cambridge City to enable him to get more game time.
