Striker Returns to Banbury

Gordon`s a Puritan once more.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Banbury United have welcomed back striker Jaanai Gordon.

Gordon left Banbury in November 2019 to join Vanarama National League South side Oxford City.

The 24-year-old was previously played in the Football League for Peterborough United, Newport County and Cheltenham Town and had time with West Ham United before long-term injury ruled him out of the game for 18 months whilst at Cheltenham.

He returned to football towards the end of the 2018/19 season with Tamworth before joining Banbury and he bagged 12 goals in the league and 15 in all competitions for the Puritans.

He has been playing back at Tamworth this season and appeared for them in the Emirates FA Cup so is cup-tied and will not be eligible for the Puritans game against Bury Town on Saturday week.
