Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Truro City have re-signed experienced centre-back James Ward.
He originally joined Truro in the summer of 2019 and scored 3 goals in 12 starts for the White Tigers during his five-month spell at Treyew Road before returning to South West Peninsula League side Falmouth Town in November 2019.
Ward, who also featured for Toolstation Western League rivals Tavistock last season, switched to another Western League outfit, Plymouth Parkway, in June
The centre-half became the clubs first signing of our new era under the Cornish Pirates joining from South West Peninsula League West side Falmouth Town.
The 6`2” defender scored the winning goal in the Cornwall Senior Cup Final against Saltash United.
He also captained the newly formed Kernow FA side in their first-ever international fixture against Barawa and previously played for Wales International Students, Cardiff Metropolitan University and Carson Newman University.
Also signing for the White Tigers on dual-registration is teenage goalkeeper Morgan Coxhead.
The 17-year-old joins from South West Peninsula League Premier Division side Sticker AFC.
But he earned headlines last year when he trialled with Plymouth Argyle, hoping to become the first player with cystic fibrosis to become a professional.
