Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Daventry Town have signed defender Ben Jackson.
The 24-year-old is a former Northampton Town youngster who was released by the Cobblers at the end of 2014/15 season and joined Rugby Town where a serious injury put him out of the game for a while.
A move to the north at the start of the 2018/19 season saw him sign for Northern Premier Division One North West side Widnes.
Having settled back in the Northampton area a few months later, he grabbed the opportunity to rejuvenate his football career with Southern Premier Division Central side St Ives Town.
