Three New Hitchin Arrivals

Well-known name in Hip-Hop signs for Canaries.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Hitchin Town have bolstered their squad with three new additions.

Ciaren Jones is a 20-year-old centre-back who was originally with Luton Town, having been on Brentford`s books as an under-12.

He signed for Norwich City's under-23 development squad in June 2018 and signed a new one-year deal with City in February 2019.

In May 2019, he joined Vanarama National League South side Eastbourne Borough on a season-long loan.

But the loan was ended in August 2019 with Jones returning to Norwich, leaving Carrow Road by mutual consent in February 2020.

Earlier this month, he signed for Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit South Shields before returning south to sign for the Canaries.

Jonas Kalonda is an 18-year-old left-sided defender or midfielder.

Like Ciaren Jones, Kalonda started his career with Luton.

He signed for the Hatters as an under-8 and progressed through the ranks before being released in June 2020 after serving the second year of his scholarship.

Another Hitchin signing is one half of the popular British hip-hop duo `Rizzle Kicks`!

Harley Alexander-Sule, who releases music under the name ‘Jimi Charles Moody’, plays at centre-back and the 28-year-old impressed manager Mark Burke in trial games.
